YES! A Doula provides physical, emotional, and educational support through pregnancy, labor&delivery, and postpartum. Although a doula can not guarentee any outcomes, evidence shows that having a doula can reduce medical interventions, using pain medication, and C-sections. Having family and friends is great, but a doula has knowledge and experience that they may not have and will be there to help you figure out what YOU want, not what everyone else thinks is best. 

I am not here to replace your partner either, but work as a team to provide you with continuous support. I will also teach your partner different comfort techniques so they feel confident on delivery day.  

A doula can not perform any medical interventions such as taking blood pressures, vaginal exams, deliver the baby,etc. Although I am a registered nurse, I cannot be your nurse when I am in the role of a doula. However, I do bring my nursing knowledge and experience to the care I will provide you.

I require a non-refundable 50% deposit at the time of contract signing with the remainder of the fee due at 36 weeks. In the event you decide to cancel I offer a % refund depending on the gestation you are to cancel. Any cancellations past 36 weeks are not refundable.
